You can make most out of National Museum tour only if you have some historical knowledge. Then every object you see, you will be able to relate and appreciate. or else, you will wasting time in roaming such a nice place and just clicking meaningless pile of images, which you will eventually loose the day either your phone dies or your memory card fails.
But, I do not want to demotivate anyone from visiting this amazing place. All I am saying is just learn briefly about ancient, medieval & modern history through Wikipedia. And also carefully read the description below every art or sculpture which interests you.
